Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) intends to hire highly skilled and motivated professionals (on retainer ship basis) having relevant experience in area pertaining to Civil, Criminal, Labour & Service matters and pursuing legal cases of PAMRA Authority, drafting of Rules/Regulations/Bye laws, etc of PAMRA Authority/Market Committees.

The broader job description of legal advisors is detailed below:

To attend the Courts for placing and defending CPLAs, Writ Petitions, Appeals, Civil Suits/cases for and against PAMRA Authority in various courts of law.
Filing of CPLAs, Writ Petitions, Appeals, Civil Suits against orders/decrees for and against PAMRA Authority in Appellate Courts.
Preparing and vetting of reports & para wise comments, written statements and concise statements, etc.
Assistance in all legal issues to the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority.
Provide legal Advice on day to day legal issues and financial aspects.
Any other legal proposition related to other official matters.

The appointment criteria for hiring of Legal Advisors is as under:

Attested copies of License from Punjab Bar Council, High Court Bar Council and Supreme Court Bar Council should be attached, where applicable
In addition to active practice, the candidates must have in-depth knowledge of Land Laws, Service matters. Labour Laws, Corporate & Civil Laws and financial issues in such matters.
The legal advisers shall initially be appointed by the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority on retainer ship basis for a period of 02 years, and subject to the given procedure, shall be eligible for reappointment.
