Managing Content with Posts and Pages
- Difference Between Posts and Pages
- Posts: Dynamic, time-stamped content like blog articles or news updates. They are displayed in reverse chronological order and can be categorized and tagged.
- Pages: Static, timeless content such as About, Contact, or Services. Pages are hierarchical and not organized by categories or tags.

- Use the block editor to add text, images, videos, and other media.
- Edit existing posts by selecting Posts > All Posts and choosing a post to update.
- Assign categories and tags to organize posts for easier navigation.
- Creating and Editing Pages
- Navigate to Pages > Add New to create a new page.
- Use the block editor to build the page layout and add media.
- Edit pages by selecting Pages > All Pages and choosing a page to update.
- Pages can have parent-child relationships to create a structured hierarchy.
- Categories and Tags
- Categories: Broad groupings used to organize posts, allowing for a structured hierarchy (e.g., “News” with subcategories like “Technology”).
- Tags: Specific labels or keywords for posts, providing a flexible way to group related content across categories.
- Manage categories and tags under Posts > Categories and Posts > Tags in the dashboard.
